Serving Up Fun: Birds Nest’s 2024 Kids Tennis Camp

This summer, Birds Nest delivered a smash hit with its 2024 Kids Tennis Camp at UBC Tennis Courts. Led by coaches Koby Lai, Josh Macdonald, and Kai Bhardwaj, the camp introduced beginners to the sport in a playful, supportive environment.

The focus was all about fun as kids learned tennis fundamentals, from gripping their first racket to mastering basic swings. Engaging drills and mini-games kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable, helping even the youngest kids feel comfortable on the court.

With Rackets & Runners as a proud sponsor, the camp had a vibrant energy, bringing together the community. The day was filled with a lot of laughter and teamwork as the players rallied together. And while the kids were on the court, parents got to relax and enjoy gourmet coffee and pastries from Honolulu Coffee, along with refreshing drinks provided by Chateau Water. It was the perfect set-up for everyone involved.

As for the budding athletes, the 2024 Summer Kids Tennis Camp was just the start—we can’t wait to see their swings next summer!
