Birds Nest Properties was established in 2017 when Jonathan enlisted friend Alvin Cheung to help streamline operations for the business. It was an opportune time with new regulatory changes facing rental property owners. “Over the past few years, we’ve spent a lot of time educating our owner clients on vacancy tax measures and Residential Tenancy Act changes,” explains Alvin. Today, the dedicated eight-person team provides full-service residential property management to its clients with modern technology and processes. But ultimately, it's their customer service that sets them apart.
“Jonathan and Alvin look after owners and tenants with a level of care atypical for the industry,” confirms owner Abner Bernardino. “They’re on top of all issues, but allowed me a huge amount of privacy and autonomy,” adds former tenant Perrin Grauer. “I moved out because I need a bigger place, but if it weren’t for that, I don’t think I would’ve ever moved out.” Back at the office, the phone rings. It’s a new client—she’s moving out of province and needs to rent out her place. ”Gotta run,” says Jonathan. And with that, he’s off to solve the day’s work.
