Welcome home to Cardero St. This unique West End heritage restoration project is a collaboration between Kipp Design + Build, Waters Development Management, and Shape Architecture. Involving the adaptive reuse and renewal of two existing heritage buildings, allowing for the construction of a modern “Tokyo infill” at the rear. This project aspires to respect the history of the buildings and retain the commercial space known to be commissioned by one of the earliest entrepreneurs, Kate Fleming, in Vancouver’s West End dating back to 1902.
