Managing Broker, Licensed Rental Property Manager

Jonathan brings over 20 years of experience in Vancouver real estate and rental property management. Licensed as Managing Broker with the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) for Rental Property Management and Real Estate Trading, Jonathan manages brokerage compliance, strategic planning, and client support across the company’s expanding portfolio. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and has built a strong reputation for client care, responsiveness, and market expertise throughout his career, which includes previous roles as a licensed Realtor at TRG Realty, RE/MAX, and Sutton Realty.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Jonathan is deeply connected to the local community and active in Greater Vancouver tennis scene with memberships at Jericho Tennis Club and Hollyburn Country Club. Known for his real estate knowledge, ability to bring people together, and enduring client relationships, he is a trusted advisor and steady leader within the Birds Nest team, helping ensure the brokerage remains a leader in Vancouver property management.

Alvin Cheung

President, Licensed Rental Property Manager

Alvin drives strategic growth and operational excellence with a finance-focused, analytical approach to property management in Vancouver. With over ten years of experience across real estate, property management, and investment management, Alvin brings a modern perspective rooted in financial expertise.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC Sauder School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, as well as a licensed Rental Property Management professional with the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA). Before co-founding Birds Nest, Alvin was Associate Portfolio Manager and Chief Compliance Officer at Fulcra Asset Management in Vancouver. Committed to the local community, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival and is an active member of the CFA Vancouver Society.

Caela Regalado

Office Manager, Licensed Rental Property Manager

Caela leads client relations and community engagement with a people-first approach. Bringing over 18 years of experience in property management and real estate development, Caela combines deep operational expertise with a commitment to exceptional service that strengthens the firm’s client experience.

Licensed in both Rental Property Management and Real Estate Trading by the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA), Caela is committed to delivering high standards of service while building meaningful relationships with clients and community partners. A lifelong Vancouverite and mother of two, she actively volunteers to support local youth through her involvement with Vancouver Thunderbirds Hockey and the Kristian Domingo Foundation.
